Collingwood is the largest and most established town in the Southern Georgian Bay region. Once a shipbuilding powerhouse in the 19th and early 20th century, a heritage still visible in its remarkable beaux-arts Federal Building and brick downtown, it has evolved into one of Ontario’s most desirable four-season destinations.
The Historic Downtown is genuinely walkable, with independent boutiques, cafés, art galleries, and specialty food shops that would hold their own in any city.
